I just got admitted to Texas Southern University (out-of-state transfer student). I was looking at my transcript page on their website portal, and it’s showing that my GPA is higher than what I previously calculated. The school only calculated all my good grades, and apparently didn’t count any of my bad grades towards my GPA. Is that normal? My transfer GPA for the school is a 2.8 but previously I calculated a 1.8 (that is including my bad grades). Am I processing this correctly? Is my GPA officially a 2.8?
Why don’t you contact the school and ask them? They must have your transcript to get their data.
