Transfer difficulty with bad HS GPA

I’m currently an OOS rising senior, and I have a bad GPA (3.4 UW with the toughest classes possible) and decent test scores (2200-2300 SAT). In addition, my HS has been blacklisted by S (someone who got accepted to S 6 years ago was discovered to have cheated on his app. No one has ever been accepted after that). So… I have no chance at all and I’m not going to apply. However, I’m planning on transferring in the future, and I’m wondering how hard it’ll be with a crappy HS GPA like that (didn’t try at all in HS until middle of junior year), if I get a 3.8-4.0 GPA in college. Also, do you think it’s better to transfer sophomore or junior years? Thanks.

I am in the same boat…

I think it is better to transfer junior years. On the website, it says: ''if you have 2 years college experiences, they will focuse more on your college grages!"

Hey, I have a not so good gpa, and what kind of classes have you taken. I am in the same boat like you. I am planning to take 5 ap classes during senior year. Will it help me if I get all A’s.
Help me.

are you from nj?!
my school was blacklisted too :T
