Transfer Financial Aid

Have any transfer students received a financial aid packet? I still don't have mine and the deposit deadline is in 2 weeks...

Hi soccer_guy. When I visited about a week ago I went to the financial aid office and spoke to a transfer representative. She said they had just begun going through transfer applications, and would be getting packages out in 'a few weeks' which to me sounded like 3-4 weeks. I'm sure you can request to extend the deadline until after you get your financial aid package.

I can't wait that long! Ahhhhh!

What about housing?

Will we get what's "left" if we wait that long?

You are guaranteed housing if you deposit by July 1st. You are never guaranteed a specific location, though.

Yeah..cause I want West Campus..

Will it be hard to get if I wait too long?

shouldn't be...most beds reserved for transfers are on west campus

My name is Elena and I am a student at Cornell....I was wondering if any transfers have not applied for housing yet and would like on campus housing...if so PLEASE EMAIL ME!! I have a spot with really good priority because I am already in Cascadilla...but you won't have to have my room. I want to leave but I need a person to take my spot. THANKS!!

Another soccer person...? @_@

haha...i LOVE soccer...are you playing for Cornell..the men's side is alright although they could definitely use some help :D ...anywho...anyone who wants to sign up for cornell housing ( you are guaranteed housing) ....PLEASE LET ME would basically make no difference to you if you sign up and switch places with me (we would email the housing director together stating that i "found" you as a replacement) and i would be absolved of my housing contract and you would get a better lottery spot :D
