<p>Whats the transfer rate or base requirement from university of rochester/ uwash or any universities within the similar ranks to an ivy league for undergraduate? Any success stories?</p>

<p>Most Ivies take very few transfer students. Your chances are relatively slim no matter where you start.</p>
<p>To add to the previous poster, Ivy leagues especially hate students transferring simply to “trade up bumper stickers”. So it doesn’t matter very much whether you’re transferring from a school ranked number 32 versus 67 or something. </p>
<p>Read the transfer forum and you’ll find a good amount of transfers come from community colleges.</p>
<p>Google the name of the college and Common Data Set for transfer data. Be aware that for publics, this will include both IS and OOS applicants.</p>
<p>After discussing this same topic with a higher up fellow at UW (Seattle), I gathered the following as far as prioritizing their admissions:</p>
<h1>1 Freshmen admissions</h1>
<h1>2 Transfer students who completed their Associates degree and are in line to complte their 4 yr degree on time.</h1>
<h1>3 transfer student from other schools</h1>
<p>because you cannot assume #3 to take place as a priority by your ‘premium’ school of choice, this is the kind of question that is best directed to an admissions advisor…</p>
