<p>I am currently a Freshman in the Business Honors Program at the University of Texas. I really do not have a passion for business, and I have always intended to double major in communications. Unfortunately, the caliber of students in the UT Comm school is not very impressive, and this has led me to apply for readmission to some of the schools where I was accepted last year out of high school. (I picked UT because it would save a lot of money.)</p>
<p>So far I have applied to:

Dartmouth
Brown
Northwestern
Yale
UNC Chapel Hill
USC
Boston College
UChicago</p>
<p>I really want a school with:
- A good liberal arts or humanities background
- A solid program in either english, creative writing, film, or american studies/history
- A high academic standard
- Solid connections to major media markets of NYC, LA, or Chicago</p>
<p>Please let me know if there are other schools I should add to my list or if there are any that stand out.</p>
