<p>I'm going to be a future UCI student, and I want to transfer to UCB. I would like to know what I would need to do in order to make this happen? Maintaining a high GPA is a given, but would i need excellent ECs? LORs? I'm intending to major in either English or Poli sci. Thanks for your help.</p>
<p>Yes, all those factors will help. However, if you have your heart set on Berkeley it would be easier to transfer from a community college than a UC, since CC students are given higher transfer priority.</p>
