3.65gpa Miami Dade college, community service hours, 3 letters of recommendation, working (part/timejob)
what are my chances to get accepted ? Also, what kind of scholarships should I ask for? I am very confusing about scholarships… any advise ? Thank you

Acceptance rate for transfers is about 30% overall but they get a lot of unqualified apps so you’re looking more at about 80% of qualified apps getting in. With a 3.65, you should be accepted as long as every other part of your application is strong. Your GPA won’t kill your app but if you mess on the essay or send in a weak test score that could hurt it. From what you have given us (which is hardly enough to help), I would say that you are doing well. If you could post more information such as which notable classes you have taken, what your prospective major is, how many credits you have, your ethnicity, specific clubs, and anything that might set you apart this would help other Confidentialers rate your chances. Best of luck from a fellow Floridian.

My major is Business Administration, I know my gpa is not THAT good (writing class “C” grade, and a B in a speech class) for everything else I got A´s… this is my last semester and hopefully I get all A´s… I am Hispano/latino… that influence in my application ?

Hi everyone,
I have also just applied for the spring semester at BU and I’m so nervous I just want to know if I will be accepted or not. I am currently a sophomore at the university at Buffalo. My major is exercise science and I have an overall 3.52 gpa. I am applying to the major of athletic training at BU.
High school gpa 94
Have many ECs
Also work part time job
And was a division I rower last year at UB
( being an athlete defintaly took at toll on my gpa that why it’s a little lower then wanted)
Have a good mid term report
And have a strong recommendation.
What are my chances of being accepted for the January semester ??
