Transfer from College to Wharton?

I’m applying transfer to UPenn but applied to college because I haven’t met the requirements to transfer directly to Wharton. Is it possible to transfer from UPenn college to Wharton? Just a quick question and thanks.

its very, very hard.

you need a college gpa of 3.65 just to be considered

So it’s probably easier to transfer in as a Junior transfer?

u cant transfer into wharton if you’ve transferred into CAS from another college

(so yes, if you really want to go to wharton, apply as a junior)

well i would suggest transfering into the college and just take econ because transfering into wharton is nearly impossible.

Usually each year, about 80-100 ppl transfer into Wharton from other colleges within Penn. Whether that’s difficult is for you to decide. Some ppl are just super smart and can walk through multiple years with above 3.9. lol it’s true.

Yes you can. For example, you can start off in SEAS, transfer to CAS after the 2nd semester, and then get into Wharton after the 3rd semester. However, if you do that, you are required to complete both CAS and Wharton in order to graduate, whereas if you transferred directly to Wharton, you only have to complete Wharton (and not your original school).

from upenn.edu

I guess I can’t have it either way. Thanks.

Y17, you’re right. I was confused at whether you meant “other college” as in another university or another undergrad school within Penn.
