Transfer from community college to university?

Hi, I had a whole ordeal where I was sent to alternative school my senior year (right now). The reason for this will be concealed to any colleges, but my transcript will show that a student who had been taking many honors and AP classes with a GPA of 3.8 and SAT score of 1710 suddenly has all alternative classes for his senior year. My question is would it be a good idea to spend two years at a CC (it’s accredited) then transfer my credits to a university that I’d like to go to? I really have my heart set on the University of Pittsburgh so I figured if I do well in community college then they wont care so much about those alternative classes i took my senior year. What do you guys think?

you CAN get into some decent schools with a 3.8 and a 1710.
