<p>My daughter wants to transfer from A community college to UVA. She has a 3.15 after her first semester (FAll 08) at community college. does anybody know what her chances of getting into UVA are? She wants to apply to UVA for Fall 09.</p>

<p>To be honest, there isn’t much advice we can give on your daughter’s GPA alone. She can always take more classes and build it up so it’s more competitive. If your daughter’s serious about applying to UVA, then she should read over UVA’s website and look at their admissions criteria. She should also take full advantage of what is being offered at her college, so when she does apply for transfer, her application is stronger.</p>
