Transfer from Emory to Gtown/CMU

Hello,

I am currently a high school senior who has recently been aceepted to Emory oxford (EA) and Case Western (EA).

Initially I was keen on attending Emory (Oxford campus). Upon visiting the Atlanta campus, however, I realized that I would have a hard time adjusting to the surroundings.

I was wondering if I could transfer in 2nd semester of my freshman year.

Are my HS (academic) stats adequate???

GPA (92%), 10/380 students

SAT 1820, took it when I was in grade 8 (will retake in June)

BTW, will the schools be okay with me retaking the SAT if I'm still 16??

there's no age limit on retaking the sat, but retaking it kind of defeats the purpose of the test when you're already in college. Getting into Oxford is almost guaranteed into Emory College, a school higher ranked than the two you listed. My question is why would you consider transfer if you didn't even study in the main campus?

You have a really good deal going for you. You're going to Oxford and then after 2 years going to Emory. I really don't think that you have a great shot at Georgetown or CMU if you try to transfer after only 1 year. However, if you want to transfer after 2 AND get a strong GPA (3.7+) you will have a better chance at Georgetown.

If your scores are 2100+, you will have a good shot at GT and CMU

Schools you should consider:
UNC
Vanderbilt
Wake Forest
Maybe William and Mary
