I currently hold a 4.0 from OCC (and I am a member of Phi Theta Kappa) and I want to transfer to EMU. But I do not know how much harder is emu compared to occ. (if anyone could answer if EMU is harder than OCC that would be great!) I want to get scholarships and keep my GPA up but is it possible to go to emu and graduate with a good GPA (3.5 or better)? Would EMU give me even more scholarships because I have a good GPA plus I am in the honor’s society? Thanks everybody for your answers!

Congrats on the 4.0! I, too, am in the PTK, but unfortunately they do not have a scholarship specifically for PTK members like other in-state universities (UM, MSU, GVSU, WSU, etc.). While conversing with EMU representatives at a college fair back in October, they pointed to the Regents Scholarship for transfer students with high GPAs. That involves having a 3.7 or higher and taking 15 credits per semester. Unfortunately, I cannot answer many of your questions. I am applying to colleges, too (including Eastern).
