Other than location, Purdue and GT are very similar in vibe, type of student, and approach to engineering.
It sounds to me like you need to give yourself more time to adjust. You’ve only been at school a few weeks!
Have you gone to any club call outs? Did you go to the football game? Are you going to IR tomorrow?
Do you live in a living/learning community? If so, go to all the events events if they don’t sound totally up your alley. You will meet more people and make more connections.
Also note that unless you are a GA resident, transferring into GT is extremely difficult. The transfer #s look higher than they actual are because of instate pathway students.
