Transfer from SJSU to UCB?

I just transferred from De Anza College to SJSU this semester (Fall 08) as a junior. I chose SJSU just because I had some financial issues. I couldn’t afford to go to UC Berkeley. However, I change my mind and plan to apply to UC Berkeley for Fall 09. Is it possible for me to finish a year at SJSU and then transfer to UC Berkeley? I can’t quit SJSU and wait for a year because I have to maintain my full-time status as an international student. By next fall, I will have 84 semester units. I major in Finance, and my GPA is 4.00
Also, I wonder if UC Berkeley has any merit-based scholarship available for international student with 4.0 GPA. I need to find some sources of financial assistance to cover my tuition fee if I get admitted.
I hope you can help me answer these questions. Thank you very much.

In short, the answer to your question is no.

If you’ve already started upper-division coursework at a four-year university, then Berkeley will not take you. Actually I don’t think any school will – no one takes senior transfers.
