Transfer from UCSD to east coast schools

Hi I am a bio major at UCSD (university of california at san diego) and was looking at my chances for transfering to an east coast school…

most specifically:
Penn
Georgetown
Brown
Cornell

GPA: ~3.6
HS GPA: 3.41

Are there any other schools that you guys think I should look into transfering?

Is there any difference if I apply as a junior transfer compared to a senior transfer?

senior transfer? -_-
just stay at your school.

yea I wasn’t really planning on a senior transfer, but does anyone else have any thoughts?

What’s wrong at SD?

dude! SD bio major is one of the best in the nation!!!

need more input :)

Senior transfer? Your application will not be considered for admissions at Brown; its an automatic rejection.

You might get into Georgetown and Cornell (not cas). Penn is a reach.

Senior transfer sounds like a bad idea. You will definitely lose time. What’s wrong with UCSD? If you really want to go to the East coast, go there for grad school.

But junior transfer isn’t a bad idea if you want to get out of SD. All of the schools that you mentioned sound like reaches.
