Looking to transfer to Berkley City College and then to UCSD as a junior. I am currently a freshman at the University of Rhode Island with a 2.5 gpa. What should I look for before transferring? Is this a good move? My major is policial science with the hopes of becoming a lobbist. Advise please. Thanks
2 things to note before you come - first, you will need to pay OOS tuition the whole time you are here - it is virtually impossible to earn residency if you move here as a student. The state offers no financial aid to OOS students so, bring a very thick wallet with you. Second, you will need to do much better (academically) to get into UCSD - 3.5+ for most majors.
