So I’ve heard some 2010 transfers received a gift bag from Cornell. It has like a pen, a backpack, etc. Someone mentioned it came with a letter explaining it was due to a community college transfer. Does anyone know about this?

it might have been through the Jack Kent cook thing or another one of the foundations that sponsors students.

it would seem rather odd for Cornell to be spending their money on something like that.

I’m gonna go with gomestar on that one. The JKC grant that Cornell received a few years ago helps found a transfer program partnership for low income students. Back when the program started, the partnership was with two NYS community colleges. I’m sure it’s expanded.

Hmm okay! I am 2010 jack Kent Cooke scholar so we will see :)
