transfer gpa calculation

if i transfer to another school (penn), will my gpa at penn include the grades i got at Michigan (current)?

Yes, for whatever credits they transfer over.

Actually, no, they won’t.

i dont think so. the school im applying says that only classes taken there will be factoered into the gpa.

yes!!! great.

(it means that i’m blowing off this semester)…

prestigious firms (or future employers) often ask transcripts from all academic institutions that you attended.
if you get all low Bs and Cs in the semester before transfer, it says much about your work ethics…

If you plan to apply to law school, for instance, your GPA will include all courses taken at any university.

Acceptances are almost always conditional on satisfactory completion of your spring courses.
