The rest I cannot think of off the top of my head. Also, I graduated in 2006 and did not take any ACT’s or any college level test. I joined the military after I graduated high school.

I am aware that my grades are not the highest but I also to take care of my wife and daughter and work anywhere from 45 to 70 hours a week. I am now to the point where I can financially relocate and pick up where I left off.

My background is Information Technology (Sys Admin) and I am looking to major in Data Science, Analytics, Computational Modeling or Computer Engineering.

Any ideas of some decent colleges I can transfer to?

Welcome fellow Veteran!

I’m a Navy guy, myself ('02-'07), and I know the struggles!

First, you should consider taking the ACT/SAT. I’m not sure how many colleges will require a score as a transfer, but considering your low-ish GPA, it couldn’t hurt.

Second, if you’re willing to relocated, I highly recommend my alma mater, GW, as it’s both very veteran friendly and has great comp-sci/engineering programs. Look into it- it’s got a lot to offer. One of the biggest selling points (IMO) is the location and ease of getting great internships. In this economy, getting a job post-graduation is all about networking, and that’s done best at internships.

Hope on over to the GW forum if you’ve got school-specific questions. You can even shoot me a private message if you’ve got other questions.
