<p>If you are in NY, then you might consider the BFA program at Brooklyn College which is part of the CUNY system. This also puts you in the city if that’s important to you. Well, Brooklyn, but you know what I mean 
It’s not the greatest surrounding neighborhood, but it does seem to be undergoing a revitalization. Once you are on campus, it’s quite nice and they have a terrific program- one of the undiscovered gems and an amazing bargain financially from what I have seen. They have established several very interesting collaborative relationships with surrounding theaters</p>
