<p>I’m currently a freshman at Mercer University, but I do not feel that the school is a good fit for me. I want to transfer to another school for the Fall 2015 semester, but I am a little lost on how to beef up my application before spring comes.</p>
<p>My high school stats were a 2250 SAT and a 4.0 GPA (unweighted), but my EC’s were a little lackluster (few leadership positions, mostly just volunteer work and some part time work). </p>
<p>Should I be looking for some research/internships to help my application? What do you guys recommend? I am currently interested in majoring in either Biology or CS. Also, I am wanting to apply to Cornell, Columbia, Georgia Tech, Emory, Vanderbilt, and some others. The list is definitely open for any comments or suggestions and I hope you guys can tell me my chances as well (I know Cornell and Columbia are reaches).</p>
