Hello everyone.
I am currently going to be a sophomore at CSUN (California State University Northridge) in fall 2010.
Now, I am not pleased with the school, so I will transfer for my junior year. Thank God my parents are willing to pay for my education
so the college cost actually does not matter.
Anyway, the classes here are so easy, but here is my question:
Does it look better to a school if the transfer student:
- Takes two college honors classes, and receives Bs in them or
- Takes two regular classes and receives 2 As, while having more time to partake in groups, community service, etc.
Bear in mind, this is on top of the other two classes I will take = 4.
I have a CSUN GPA of 3.88, but b/c I transferred in a community college class from junior year that gave me a C, so my current GPA is 3.66.
Anyway, what do you suggest? What else can I do to look appealing?
I do not have too many extracurriculars, but I do own a vintage eBay store when I sell restored clothing from the 1920s to 1980s. Hell, I brought in $20,000 last year with that biz, so I think that is something to brag about!
