<p>im an undergrad at usc who is taking a indefinite leave of absence,
i’m moving up to the bay area to work in finance and take some cal classes on the side this summer.
applied to berkeley '09 transfer, but have not gotten response yet.
does anyone know the kind of chances i have if i apply after taking summer classes at cal and maybe being rejected come may 1?</p>

minimal extracurriculars</p>
<p>my main concern is not with the upcoming transfer period,
but the difficulties with transferring from local schools & ccs (SFSU, USF, etc.) into berkeley…</p>
<p>Why are you worried about the difficulties from transfering from local schools? It’s easier to transfer from a California cc to Berkeley than any other place besides maybe a California high school.</p>
