I’m working with a young woman who is currently in her second year of a 4 year B.A. (not B.Arch) program at USF (S. Fla.). Apparently USF offers a “2+3” Master of Architecture program, allowing students to enter the M.Arch program after two years of undergraduate work. Furthermore, while these two years involve some pre-architectural coursework, i.e., any community college A.A. grad in an “A.A. transfer program” is eligible.

She is doing well, with a 4.0 in the USF Honors College, but she has heard that admissions into the program are very competitive, so she wants to see if there are any similar programs out there to which she could also apply.

This is the first that I have heard of this route to an M.Arch. If you have any knowledge of similar offerings, I would be eager to hear of them.
