Transferring from a good CC for Chemical Engineering (with focus in environmental where available) fall '16. Need help narrowing down my list (I can’t afford to apply to all of these lol).
In approx. order of how likely I feel my admit is:

Ohio State (in-state)
Syracuse U
Vanderbilt
Notre Dame
Northwestern
Johns Hopkins
Columbia
College GPA: 4.0
HS GPA: 3.9
Old ACT: 30: retaking in Feb., if practice tests are any indicator it will be a 33-35
Good rec from my calc 2&3 prof; for Vandy & Columbia my second rec will have to be another math prof which might count against me.
Extracurriculars since high school have mostly been work.
-Full-time management job in retail/event sales. 52% increase in unit sales in my area over last year
-Part-time job at a riding stables
HS ec’s, haven’t seen these asked on an app yet
-equine 4-H, several state champion/reserve champion titles in knowledge competitions, a few placings at the national level
-some volunteer stuff
-part-time work
Northwestern is my #1 choice, JHU & Columbia would be amazing, OSU is my safety for many reasons, the others I could use input on.
