Today I received one of the biggest shocks of my life when I opened my email to what I thought was Cornell spam. It was most certainly not spam but was instead a transfer option to CALS as an animal science major. I have decided to go to the University of Kentucky in the fall (want to be an equine vet, can double major equine/animal science with pre-vet concentration and full tuition doesn’t hurt). Honestly still can’t wrap my brain around what just happened as I had mentally moved on and accepted that I would never get off the wait list, and within the past 12 hours I achieved a goal I had been working towards for four years. My biggest questions regarding Cornell with transferring is financial aid still as generous and how hard is it to make the transition as a sophomore?
