Transfer or Early Admission?

<p>Here is the story, I didn’t get into my first choice ivy league schools. I had high SAT score and ranked top 1% in my school. Probably one of my major weakness is the lack of leadership positions.</p>

<p>So, here I am, preparing to try ivy league for the second round . I am just wondering, would it be easier to apply as a transfer student during 1st year, or doing Early Admission and take a year off? Is it worth it to try early admission again?</p>

<p>only if you do something amazing during that year off…like teaching blind kinds how to read in Africa or something :)</p>

<p>Why is it so important that you are only interested in Ivy League schools when there are other programs which are just as good and you would have a better chance at admission?</p>
