Transfer Process and Difficulty

Is it difficult to transfer from UC Berkeley to UCLA? Or the other way around? What about transferring from a UC to Wesleyan University? Can anyone tell me more about the process in transferring?

No but you have to get good grades and complete prerequisites.

No it’s not hard, just have the grades. Learn how to search this forum, it actually is a cool tool to use…

It will be easier to transfer from Berkeley to UCLA as opposed to the other way around. UCLA is historically more accepting of intercampus transfers; Berkley actively discourages intercampus transfers. No clue on Wesleyan.

The UCs do not actively discourage transfers applicants already attending a UCs. Per the UCs’ policy, CCC applicants are given priority (everyone reads too much into this unexplained term); it does not necessarily translate to qualified (how ever the UC determines that to be) UC-UC applicants be will ignored.

It’s not impossible if that’s what you’re worried about; I was accepted to Cal and Georgetown as a transfer from UCLA. It’s difficult to transfer if you have not satisfied the pre-reqs for your intended major and your GPA, ECs, and PS are weak. It’s not difficult if you have satisfied your pre-reqs and have a strong GPA, ECs, and PS.
