My daughter had an excellent transfer process with St. Olaf college. However, she only had one semester at another school under her belt so they let her choose to join a Freshman orientation group and she lives in a freshman dorm, although technically she became a sophomore in January. I don’t know how it would go for a Junior, which is a common transfer point. Although St. Olaf is an incredibly welcoming school that provides tons of on campus social activities and is 100% residential, I imagine it would also be a good experience transferring later. They do only accept about 20ish transfers so it wouldn’t be a large cohort.
