I have a friend who was academic probation at Mt SAC in 2010. They stopped going to college for 3 years and applied to a college at a different district in 2013 and currentry have a solI’d 3.75 GPA. Now it is time to transfer and they are worried that when they input their previous grades at Mt SAC, it will affect (possible exempt them from) their financial aid at CSU Fullerton. Does anybody know if this is true? I only know that they are required by law to include their bad grades from Mt SAC.
Financial aid is separate from admissions. However, you can’t get aid if you aren’t admitted.
You have to be a student in good standing to get FA.
Your best bet is to contact FA at Fullerton and find out how much FA is left re Cal grants.
