<p>I heard that transfer exam is the most important factor for transfer to Caltech. I even heard that that exam determines admission decision. Is this true?</p>
<p>No. Bad test result can cause rejections by themselves, but if you have good test results, you still have to convince the committee that you are a good fit for Caltech. So the application matters as much as in the regular process. But you have to do well on the tests to get your foot in the door.</p>
<p>Do you have a sample of the transfer entrance exam? Will the exam be too hard to be taken by college freshmens?</p>
