So I want to apply as a transfer to Columbia for the Class of 2014 during my freshmen year (as in, send out the application in my freshmen year and if I get in attend starting soph year). I thought I had a pretty good reason to apply–the Education and Dance majors that are not offered at my school (Tufts) are the ones that interest me the most–but then i saw that they are offered through Barnard.

I still want to apply to Columbia because of the core, location, rigor, variety of extracurriculars, and connections it would give me after undergrad, but do you think I should come up with some other reasons since the majors are not offered through Columbia College?
