<p>So I really really want to go to SBU, I visited and just fell in love with the place, plus I so want to live by NYC and my girlfriend, so I have a question. They said I don;t fill out a supplemental, however I can send “a personal statement or other supplemental materials along with my application” if I wish. What does this entail? How should I format this? Is it an essay or something? What things fall under acceptable to send them?</p>

<p>have you thoroughly checked their application? If they have a optional essay they usually tell you what to write about, i think. Good lucky with getting in.</p>
