You’ll notice in-state students are accepted at a higher rate. This is because there is a (controversial) deal with Virginia community colleges which allows their students to gain entry if they have a 2.5+ GPA or so.

<p>It’s a 3.4+ GPA and you have to select certain classes. How did you come up with 2.5? that’s just ridiculously low…</p>
