This year I am a Freshmen, and I attend Louisiana State University. This college is about two hours away from home. No one from my hometown came to this school; they decided to attend a smaller unniversity closer to home. I wanted to branch out and attend LSU because diverse university and all of my family came here. I am almost finished with my first semester, and I am miserable! I literally have NO friends here. I went through rush week, but didnt complete it. I am apart of a club, but I still have no one to talk to or hang out with. I have gained the Freshmen 20 and call my parents every single day crying and miserable. They will not let me come home. I feel like I have done everything I can to try and make things work at LSU, but I have been unsucessful. How can I covince my parents to let me go to college near home?
