Transfer statistics for CAS

<p>According to that report, very few students get in applying to colleges other than college of agriculture and life sciences. I’m applying to College of Arts and Sciences, and I’m hoping this data is skewed for some reason, maybe because so many people apply to that school just to apply?</p>

<p>Anyone have any more recent statistics, or have talked to someone from admissions about this?</p>

<p>CAS is the largest and second most selective school at Cornell even for regular applicants. CAS and engineering are also the only two schools that have lower transfer acceptance rates than high school acceptance. That’s just the way it is. The data isn’t skewed, though I’m sure some people apply to the school on a whim. As long as your stats are decent and you have a very compelling reason for going to Cornell, you have a decent shot.</p>
