So, I was recently accepted into NYU Tisch, and I received an initial credit evaluation. All of the courses are listed as “tentative,” and a friend of mine is suggesting I should send syllabi to help ensure the credits are accepted. I have no idea how credit evaluation works, however. What exactly does this mean?

Thanks.

I’m sorry that I don’t have an answer, but I recommend posting this question in the 2011 NYU Transfer Thread.

But – Tenative means upon completion of the course. Essentially, you will have to send in your final transcript from where you are currently attending as soon as your grades are in. As long as you receive A’s and B’s in all of your classes, you’ll be fine.
