Transfer student, can't register for classes online!

I want to register for PHY 121/123 and am a rising Sophomore but when I go to add the class online it says prerequisities not met! I am assuming it is saying this because I have no records of previous classes taken to count as the prerequisite. I went to transfer orientation and signed up for the majority of my classes but I want to switch my two DEC’s for this physics class (better to take physics now for the MCATS instead of junior year).

Also, I want to switch my animal development 325 class for mammalian physiology 328, but it is saying the same thing “prerequisities not met, cannot process”

Who should I call, and do I have to go on campus to register? (I hope not because because its a 1 hour drive). Like I said, I already signed up for most of my classes during orienation, but I need to change a few things.

Well, how about calling the registrar’s office first and then going from there? It shouldn’t take you long for someone to assist you.

If you don’t get help at the registrar’s office, try advising (631-632-6710)… they should be able to help there.

If it’s a case of transfer credits that aren’t on the SOLAR system yet, call the Transfer Office (631-632-7028) and ask if all of your transcripts have been received. (Actually, that might even be a better place to start.)
