<p>Does anyone know if this event is worth going to?</p>
<p>I went to one with a friend (who transferred) once. There’s free food and all, and I remember it being pretty decent food. If you want to meet people that’s a good place to do so because everyone (well, almost) is new there. If you don’t care about the food and don’t care about meeting anyone there, then no, there’s no reason to go.</p>
<p>Thanks for the info. I would like to meet some new people as I really don’t know anyone at U of M or in the area, but was trying to gauge if it would be really hokey or not.</p>
