Transfer student with A-levels in need of help!

Hi, I am an international student attending a community college in California and I wish to transfer next year. I have done my GCE A-Levels (British Curriculum) but my community college doesn’t grant credit/units for my A level scores.

However, all the universities that I’m planning to transfer to (UCLA,UCB,UCI or UCD) offer credit/units for GCE A level subjects with A,B or C grades.

I want to apply to an university this year but I will only have 51 units (even though I have completed all the IGETC and major course requirements) by the end of Spring 2016 (I need 60 units to transfer as a junior)

However, I will have 83 units by Spring 2016, if I count the units given for my A-Levels (according to the Online UC Transfer Admission Planner). So, I’m curious as to wether I can count my A-level units towards the 60 units needed for transferring as a junior or I should refrain from applying this year and wait till next year. (Even though I have completed the IGETC and the major requirements)

I’ve been looking for an answer everywhere. It’ll be great if someone can clarify this for me.

Thank you.
