<p>Hi I’m going to be a sophomore transfer student in the fall, I attended West Virginia University in the fall and community college in the spring. I applied at UIUC after one college semester at WVU where I got a 3.1 gpa. I got into U of I. but now Im worried after my final transcrpit they will revoke my admission. I’m sort of struggling at my community college and I will most likely get a GPA between 2.5 and 2.75. I’m going to be a poly sci major, will they revoke my admission after a semi poor semester???</p>

<p>They do not publish any particular standards for transfer students relating to rescission except to reserve the right to do so if your performance is worse than indicated when you were accepted. You may particularly have an issue because the thing that is most likely to result in rescission is having an overall college GPA that is lower than the one required for transfer into the major (2.7 for poli sci) and it is unclear what yours may be. Also, in any of your application materials did you inform UIUC that you were not attending WVU the second semester but instead a community college? If not, that could also be an issue.</p>
