Transfer Students Fall 2019

So, we are slowly getting closer to the day we have to apply to universities. My top choice is Fullerton and I’m hoping I get in. My second choice is San Marcos. What are your choices and stats??

I’m currently at as state university, commuting for a year. I’m a poli sci major but that may change to either journalism or English. Of course we just started the semester so I don’t have much for grades but basic stats:

H.S. Four years of band and drum major
H.S. Drama Club for four years
H.S. Debate for a year
H.S. NHS and Tri-M
H.S./College Part Time retail job
College Internship with state rep
College Community theater
College Wind Symphony
Honors College at my school, most likely going to be freshman rep

I also plan on doing more community service while here as well, maybe a few other clubs if I have time. I know it doesn’t look like a lot but every day is pretty much full with something

Schools I’m applying too: UMass Amherst, Suffolk, University of Hartford, Simmons, Bennington, St. Olaf, American University, George Washington University, Smith, Bryn Mawr and my top choice is Mount Holyoke

I didn’t apply to schools I really liked the first time around because I looked at colleges the summer before senior year, found I wasn’t too into them but stubborn, I still applied since those were the ones I looked at. After a friend recommended Mount Holyoke to me since I really liked the idea of going to a women’s college but only applied to Smith (Who rejected me) I decided to apply last minute to the state school in town and try again. If I don’t get into one of those upper tier schools like AU, Smith, MoHo etc. and get accepted at UMass again or wherever you have it I’ll just go there, but you never know until you try! Good luck
