<p>Can someone let me know how much harder it is at a top school (tier 1 schools). I attend a small private school and I’m doing pretty well academically. I’m just nervous when I go to my new school I’m going to be overwhelmed by the workload/difficulty.</p>

<p>For example a student who attended community college and got accepted at their in state school like UVA or UNC. How much harder is it? (would like to know from ppl with actual experience) Students who have been admitted into tier 1 schools, but came from lesser known schools.</p>
<p>Certainly depends on your program. You should not be overwhelmed. Just keep up with classes and, if possible, stay a little ahead. It’s when you get behind in classes that things get overwhelming.</p>
<p>Also, there will be much more going on around campus, which means more distractions. It’s all about time management really.</p>
