<p>I’m currently attending Penn State University for both biology and chemistry. I really want to transfer to either Boston College/ University or New York University because of the department of sciences and dental schools. I’m already working on a transfer essay for each. I roughly got a 530-540 on each section on the SAT and aced my essay. What should I do to transfer to schools like these as soon as possible?</p>
<p>Hey Greenhead, I’m a student at Penn State, as well, and I think it might be best to transfer after your sophomore year if you don’t want them to look at your SAT scores. Are you a freshmen at PSU? I initially wanted to go to BU but it was just too expensive; i got waitlisted at NYU. So, here I am at Penn State, but i’m really starting to like it so I don’t think i’ll be transferring. Anyway, just keep your gpa 3.5+ and build some good relationships with your professors to get transfer recommendations.</p>
