Transfer to Chapman University: What are my chances? Other southern CA schools I should apply for?

I want to transfer from CSU Stanislaus to a school in Southern CA. I’m considering Chapman but would be open to any school in southern CA that has a Public Relations/Communications PR major. The only thing is, I had a really tough semester (personal issues) last spring and my GPA is a 2.85. My high school GPA was a 4.5 weighted, I think a 3.7 unweighted, I got a 1930 on the SAT and a 31 ACT. I have 69 college credits right now. What are my odds of getting into Chapman’s Public Relations and Advertising major? What other schools should I apply for that I would have a shot of getting into?

for most schools - as a Jr transfer, your HS record isn’t relevant. With a 2.85, in college, i don;t think you’ll have many options in So Cal, maybe Channel Islands or CSULA.

What are you looking for that Stanislaus doesn’t have and what is your budget?

Chapman U is $64K per year. Can you afford that?
