Transfer to Cornell from NYU?

<p>I am looking to transfer out of NYU to Cornell CAS for Spring 2012. What are my chances? </p>

<p>High School GPA: 3.84
SAT: 610 R, 700 M, 690 W</p>

<p>College GPA: 3.75
3 semesters done, 48 credits without APs. A’s and A-'s, one B. </p>

<p>African. </p>

<p>Low-income.</p>

<p>I think you have a good chance. The only thing you have to focus on is the essays. They are critical. You have to explain why Cornell is important to you, how you can contribute, and what makes you so special. Remember, the ESSAYS are the MOST important thing. Spend lots of time editing and such, you chances can greatly increase.</p>
