Transfer to more supportive boarding school mid junior year?

My kid at strong but not top 10 BS has imploded this fall in a cycle of not doing work, self recrimination, social issues etc etc. He has ADHD and we wish we would have chosen a school with more baked in support that would force him to review assignments and do at least some work ahead. Interventions by us and school have not worked and grades which were generally As and a few Bs have dived. We feel we need to pull him out but there are not good day school options. Has anyone had an positive experience transferring mid year to one of the schools often recommended here, like Marvelwood, Solebury, ??? Thank you.

I have a son at Marvelwood.
He switched mid-year last year, and it was one of the best decisions we made.
They have the academic support he needs, and the school vibe is both kind and inclusive. He’s thriving.
I’d be happy to connect with you about it.

I have a nephew at Solebury which is also a good school.

I don’t know anyone who has transferred to Solebury midyear, but it tends to be very supportive. My sense is that they meet kids where they are.
