transfer to pitt

Hey i’m currently going to UConn and was looking to transfer into Pitt for pre-pharmacy. How is the school there? Is the weather nice? Is the dining hall food good? Is there a lot to do in the city? Is there a big gym on campus?

It’s going to be a little different than in Stores. Pitt is very urban, with a very concentrated campus that is built vertically. The city provides a lot to do, and the PittArts program will make sure you can do it cheaply (and public transportation is free in the city for Pitt students). The weather is, well, not spectacular. The Fall is nice, so is summer, IMO, but winter and spring…ehhh. The gym facilities are more scattered than concentrated in one big one. Most residence halls have their own workout facilities, but there is a gym on the lower campus near the Cathedral of Learning, and two on the upper campus (Trees Hall and also one inside the basketball arena, which is bigger than Gampel). It’s definitely one of the best places for pharmacy though, and bioscience/health sciences in general.
