Hey all, Im new to the forums here. I attempted my first year of undergrad some years back and had to pull out for medical reasons. I might be resuming my undergrad education now at RIT in Dubai, as my parents live here. The predominant reason for switching to RIT would be because I need to be close to home due to my current situation. Being in my early 20’s, I am a bit older than everyone else. The problem is, RIT dubai only offers engineering and business, and I want to take my medical pre-reqs, just to keep that door open. Is it possible to take the prereqs at an online institution? I have also been accepted to a direct 6 year medical program abroad, but my parents are not sure of whether to support me with this idea.

My first year of undergrad was at Queen’s university in Canada, and I passed but I performed poorly. Even though 4 years have passed since I have been enrolled in class there, I am still in good academic standing, and can technically reenroll at any point. I have thought about resuming class via distance studies and taking my last year on campus. I feel RIT is a step down from Queen’s but I could be wrong.

My high school stats were around a 3.5 with a 1900 on the SAT

I understand that no one owes me advice, but any feedback would be appreciated, regarding setting up a plan. I wish I had capitalized on this site much earlier.
