Transfer to the University of Texas at Austin

<p>I currently go to Trinity University in San Antonio. It is the #1 ranked liberal arts college in the west. I am a freshman and had a rough first semester and ended up with a 2.8. I am doing much better this semester and applied to transfer to UT Austin next fall. I submitted my application along with my 6 page resume and I think I did pretty well on my application essays. What are my chances of receiving admission? </p>

<p>I also have credits that will transfer in from my dual credit courses in high school. </p>

<p>The 2.8 gpa is kind of low! If you can get straight A’s this semester and pull that up though you might have a chance for COLA! They won’t look at your application until you get 30 credits though so make sure to do better this semester and send the transcript in! </p>

<p>If you don’t get in, you can always apply for spring 2015 transfer. :slight_smile: You have plenty of time.</p>
